So, the procedure looks like the following:
I think you will arrive by cars. So Lviv is a city we recommend to see ( maybe better after the festival as you will meet some Lviv smiths by this time and they will show you around the center, possible to see Lviv Academy of Art. The central hostel RETRO-SHEVCHENKO is in the very center and most smiths stayed there , they already know about us
so, best to arrive on Thursday evening/afternoon here.
so, we can have informal meeting somewhere in the restaurant for dinner to meet each other and eat.
I will book hotels for you - they give me discounts for smiths. I just need dates, number people, names, type of rooms, price that is good for you
Most foreigners stay in 3-star Auscoprut hotel ( 18 Euros) and Nadia HOtel ( 15 Euros for standard single or twin room ) - both with breakfast. both - walking distance - 7-10 min on foot. Both have internet pages- have a look and tell me which you want.
Cheaper variant - about 6 euros, no breakfast, walking distance 2-5 min.
one suit room is left in the best hotel - about 70 square meters, 2 rooms, actually 4 people can be there - 2 in big bed, 2 in a big sofa, 2 TVs, balcony, huge bathroom, HI FI, and from the window you see the square we forge at.-- so for 2 people it can be 65 euros, for 3-4 people - it will be about 100 euros per room. but it is the closest, newest , best hotel .
so, on Friday you register at the info tent at the square and apply for forging - we have about 25 forges , you can choose Friday or Saturday, and the time you like. we provide
the usual tools-hammer, tongues but if you need something special - you can take those tools with you.
We make a new sculpture every year, base is forged by local smiths and decorations, elements are made at teh festival, then we open last year sculpture during next festival and make a new one. Looks like we have an idea what to forge this year.. but I will inform later,
Last year registration was about 5 euros but you received a catalogue of the previous exhibition
we will appoint to you a student - volunteer who will help you all days long with translations.
The cost of what trip do you ask? if yo u go by car - the petrol is cheaper here than in Poland.
If you ask about excursion-- we share the price of the transport, we stay in the cottages somewhere, we have a party there all together.
Last year we went to Kamjanets- Podilskiy and smiths liked it very much - although it is 180 km away. It is a unique city and if you have time you can go there for a day ! Very nice and very good blacksmith community !! They have such fantastic workshops- in the ancient tower on the bank of the canyon!! and the city is really fantastic with 180 historical monuments on the very small territory- some kind of an island inside of a loop of the river surrounded by a canyon.. and one more fortress nearby ..a place to see- one of 7 wonders of Ukraine !
this year we are searching for some place to go, maybe mountains+ a blacksmith museum in the vocational school. maybe something else..
In Ukraine it will not be expensive - most things are much cheaper - you were here last year, were the prices cheaper than in Poland ??
Also we have an exhibition- you bring objects, we form exhibition, one more smith exhibition can be already formed by the day of the festival and we will open it, we have a conference and good blacksmiths present photos of their works.., we have a party all together ( last year it was 8 euros - a party in the restaurant) , and another day we gave a party free for the participants .
so we really have fun, people like coming here , and we are happy so many Polish smiths decided to come !this is good , we are neighboring countries and we need to have closer contacts between smiths

jak widzicie, organizatorzy Festiwalu mają dopracowany każdy szczegół imprezy. Najważniejsze jest jednak to, że nas zapraszają:)
mam nadzieję, że treść jest zrozumiała. jak ktoś potrzebuje tłumaczenia, to przetłumaczę
w mailu jest mowa o tym, że każda grupa dostaje tłumacza ochotnika:)
są to przesympatyczne dziewczyny.
wspominam o tym przez wzgląd na młodszych forowiczów np. typu Wat. jak nie chce się jechać i kuć w upale, to możecie jechać pogadać po angielsku z fajnymi dziewuszkami:)
Żeby mi nikt potem nie żałował, że z nami nie pojechał! jak widzicie koszty to żadne, jedyne co może odstraszać to dystans, ale jak ja może jechać do Ustki to i Wy na Ukrainę dojedziecie.
A teraz konkretnie! kto jedzie, proszony jest o podanie dokładnych dat noclegów. Proszę dopisać też jakie to maja być hotele? najlepiej piszcie do mnie na pw.
na bank jedzie juz 5 osób, a jesli liczyć Państwa Wszebądów, to już jest nas 7.
na wasze decyzje czekam do niedzieli wieczór.
bo z translatora to tragedia. 
Kiedy zaczyna sie ta wycieczka bo piszesz o noclegu jakowymś ? Musimy wszystko wprzódy wiedziec by z urlopami załatwic. Ważne ze paszporty jeszcze maja ważność !!Dane na priv. ( A WŁAŚNIE JAKIE DANE POTRZEBA oprócz tych przyjazdów. ?)
Inaczej nie dojedziemy dalej jak do granicy.
